On-loan defender Freddie Veseli made his second appearance for League Two Bury as they lost 4-0 at Chesterfield having been reduced to 10 men in the first half.
Elsewhere, Jack Marriott is still to make his first appearance for Gillingham having been an unused sub for the second game running as the Gills lost 3-0 at Colchester. Elliott Hewitt was left out of the 18, having rejoined the League One side after his initial spell had been curtailed by an ankle injury.
Academy second-year scholar Rory Thompson was in the Haverhill Rovers side which beat Newmarket Town 2-1 in the Thurlow Nunn Premier Division.
Meanwhile, Tuesday’s FA Cup replay opponents Preston North End lost 2-0 at Wolverhampton Wanderers.
