City Game Confirmed on TV - Ipswich Town News
Town's FA Cup tie with Manchester City will definitely be on TV, but as yet the question of when and on which channel is still to be resolved. Tuesday's game between Middlesbrough and Wimbledon will sort out the details of the Portman Road game.
If Boro beat Wimbledon then the Boro-Manchester United game will be screened at noon on Saturday 27th by Sky and Town's game will be the BBC1 match screened live on Sunday at 7pm.
If the Dons are successful then Town will have the dubious honour of the Saturday lunchtime kick-off.
Earlier reports said that Town's game was in the running for the 4pm Sky slot, however the Darlington or Peterborough v Newcastle match has switched from the Saturday lunchtime slot.
