Marriott On Target in Second Woking Debut - Updated - Ipswich Town News
Jack Marriott got his second loan spell with Woking off to a predictable start by scoring the first goal as the Cards beat Hereford United 3-0 at home in the Skrill Premier.
The 19-year-old, who rejoined Woking on loan until the end of the season last week after a spell at Gillingham was ended early, headed home his 10th Cards goal in his 10th game from close range in the 24th minute (2.30 into video below).
Keiran Murtagh added the second two minutes later and Josh Payne the third on 88, three minutes after Marriott had been subbed.
Meanwhile, Elliott Hewitt and the Gills, where he is now on loan until the end of the season, are in League One action at Stevenage this evening. Freddie Veseli's Bury are facing Oxford United at home in League Two.
