Marriott on Target - Ipswich Town News

Jack Marriott netted the second goal of his current loan spell with Woking as they beat Macclesfield 3-2 at home in the Skrill Premier. The 19-year-old, who grabbed the Cards' first of the afternoon, has now scored 11 goals across his two loans at the Kingfield Stadium.

Elsewhere, Elliott Hewitt was in the Gillingham side which lost 1-0 at Oldham in League One, while in League Two Freddie Veseli’s Bury scored a last minute goal to win 1-0 at AFC Wimbledon.

Veseli’s loan spell with the Shakers is now up but he is keen to stay at Gigg Lane and manager Mick McCarthy has said he would be happy for the Swiss U21 international to remain with the Lancastrians.
