Pulis: Williams Has Big Future at Palace - Ipswich Town News

Crystal Palace manager Tony Pulis says new Blues loan signing Jonny Williams has a “massive future” ahead of him at Selhurst Park. The 20-year-old Wales international joined Town on a month’s loan yesterday and looks set to make his debut in the home game against Birmingham tomorrow.

"Jonny has a massive future ahead of him at this football club,” Pulis told the Croydon Advertiser.

"He is a talent, but he needs to play a consecutive run of games and hopefully he will get a run at Ipswich with Mick.

"Ipswich are a fantastic football club with fantastic facilities and great support. Mick is a very good manager who will look after him and we are hoping and praying he will do as well as we think he will."

The former Stoke boss says an extension to the loan will be discussed when the initial term comes to an end: "We will look at it in a month's time.

"We felt it was the right move for Jonny to help him get some games and he felt comfortable with it, which was key. We hope he will get the games he needs and then we will see."
