Poom Out for Derby - Ipswich Town News
More bad news for Derby with the news that goalkeeper Mart Poom will miss the Town game and could well be out for a long period. Poom, who was a summer Town target, has a swollen middle finger.
The Estonian saw a specialist who has told him he may need an operation which would keep him out until the end of the season. Derby hope that a rest may mean the operation is unnecessary and Poom will miss the next four games. Andy Oakes will take over in goal at the weekend.
Earlier in the week Derby sacked manager Colin Todd.
