Stewart Bid Confirmed by Bruce - Ipswich Town News
Huddersfield manager Steve Bruce has confirmed that Town have made "a firm bid" for Marcus Stewart although that is as far as matters have gone as yet. The local press in Ipswich and Huddersfield are both reporting the story which is either for £2.8 million or £3 million depending on who you believe, with the £800,000 rated Naylor included in this figure.
In other news recent Town trialist Odd Inge Olsen will miss the next six months after damaging his knee ligaments whilst last week's failed try-out Soren Fredriksen is interesting Charlton.
Former Town man Danny Sonner looks likely to join either Manchester City or Derby County for £450,000.
