Williams Now Expected to Stay With Town - Ipswich Town News

Crystal Palace are reportedly set to allow midfielder Jonny Williams to stay on loan with the Blues for a second month.

According to the South London Press, Palace will include the expected 24-hour recall during in the 20-year-old Wales international’s second month at Portman Road. Williams’s first month with the Blues is up today.

Town would be able to extend the loan for a second time for up to a maximum of 93 days if Palace don't use their recall and the Blues are still in the play-off hunt at the end of the second month.

Earlier today, Palace boss Tony Pulis said he would assess the fitness of Marouane Chamakh and Dwight Gayle before making a decision on whether to allow Williams to remain with the Blues.

Williams made four starts and two sub appearances and scored once during a highly successful first month at Town.
