Williams Delighted to Be Staying With Town - Ipswich Town News
Jonny Williams says he’s delighted to have extended his loan with the Blues until the end of the Championship season having enjoyed his first month at Portman Road. The 20-year-old Crystal Palace player’s second month with Town was confirmed last night.
Williams told the club site: "I’m delighted to be extending the loan because I’ve really enjoyed my time at Ipswich.
"It’s been a great experience for me and I’ve loved working under the manager and TC.
"I’m excited to get back training with the lads and playing my part as we try and push into the play-offs.”
Palace can recall the Wales international at 24 hours’ notice if he is required during the closing weeks of their relegation battle, but if that doesn’t happen and the Blues reach the top six the loan can be extended into a third month covering all three play-off games.
