Reports this morning claim that Town are to take Cypriot defender Petros Konnafis on trial with a possibilty that he may become a permanent signing. Konnafis is 22 and plays for Omonia Nicosia at present.

Currently the Cyprus Player of the Year, Konnafis is highly-rated and has expressed a desire to move to England.
