Blues Continue to Be Linked With Stearman - Ipswich Town News
Town continue to be linked with a summer move for former loanee Richard Stearman, whose Wolves contract is up at the end of June.
Earlier in the season, the Midlanders put contract talks on hold until their 2014/15 divisional status had been settled, but having confirmed their place back in the Championship, it’s likely that a new deal will be on the table at Molineux soon.
Town, who were priced out of a move for the right-back or centre-half last summer, are reported to be considering making the player an offer, while Leeds, Bolton and Celtic have joined them in keeping a close watch on the former Leicester man, according to Sky Sports.
The 26-year-old made 15 appearances for the Blues in a highly successful loan spell during the second half of 2012/13 and is understood to have enjoyed his time at Portman Road.
