Permanent Move for Croft? - Ipswich Town News

On loan defender Gary Croft seems keen to make his spell at Wigan a permanent move. The full-back joined Wigan on a month's loan last week, making his debut in their victory over Brentford at the weekend.

Croft says he sees a lot of potential at the JJB Stadium: "I didn't actually negotiate the deal myself, so I'm not sure what happened behind the scenes. But if myself and the club get on well and both clubs can agree fees, you never know what might happen. I see Wigan as a big club with a big future."

The ex-Grimsby and Blackburn player added that some First Division clubs showed an interest in him before he moved to Wigan. Wolves are believed to be one of them.
