Hyam and Anderson Miss Burnley Trip - Ipswich Town News
Midfielders Luke Hyam and Paul Anderson have been ruled out of Saturday’s game at Burnley, while Anthony Wordsworth is a doubt, but better news is that centre-half Christophe Berra is fit to return to the side having missed Monday’s 2-2 draw with Bournemouth.
Manager Mick McCarthy says the Scotland international is over his knee problem: "Christophe’s trained today, he’s fine. Luke Hyam won’t be involved, it’s too soon for him. He’s strained his hip flexor.”
Wordsworth and Anderson were subbed on Monday suffering with a dead leg and a hamstring problem respectively.
McCarthy added: "Woody’s still feeling the effects, he hasn’t trained today, he’s feeling quite stiff and sore and as for Ando I think the game will come too quick for him, he won’t be involved. All the others are all right, they’ve all trained.”
