Your Chance to Play at Portman Road - Ipswich Town News

Town are after players and teams for next week’s Portman Cup and Soccer Sixes events which will be staged on the main pitch at Portman Road.

The Portman Cup, which takes place on Tuesday 6th May, offers the chance to be part of a team playing a 90-minute match managed by a Town legend.

As well as the opportunity to grace the Portman Road turf, the day includes use of the dressing rooms and dugouts, personalised kit, award presentations, a post-match meal for you and a guest, a commemorative DVD and a photo CD. You can read about last year’s game here.

There are only two places left to be filled for the Portman Cup, which costs £250 + VAT per person.

Town’s Soccer Sixes tournament, on Thursday 8th May, offers the chance to play against a Blues legends side and is for squads of 10.

The all-day competition, which costs £50 per person plus VAT, consists of a preliminary group stage, followed by knock-out rounds.

If you’re interested in playing in the Portman Cup or entering a team into the Soccer Sixes competition or want more information, call the Town sales team on 01473 400594 or email sales@itfc.co.uk.
