Kuqi, 37, took over as boss at Honka, who play in the Finnish top flight and are in the first qualifying round of the Europa League, in February.
Meanwhile, on-loan Blues winger Jack Doherty was in the Waterford United side which lost 1-0 at home to Town's pre-season opponents Shelbourne in the Airtricity League First Division last night.
