Fulham McGoldrick Offer Claim - Ipswich Town News
Fulham are targeting Town striker David McGoldrick, according to reports.
The recently-relegated Cottagers, who on Friday released nine players, are planning a swoop for the Blues' 26-year-old 16-goal top scorer, reported Saturday's Irish Sun.
According to The Sun on Sunday the Londoners are reported to be ready to make an offer of £2 million, a figure which is unlikely to tempt the Blues.
McGoldrick, who was understood to be interesting Crystal Palace and Swansea in January, signed a two-year-old contract last summer having been released by Nottingham Forest, but it’s understood that that deal also included an option for a further season.
The Town frontman, who revealed his qualification for the Republic of Ireland earlier this year, will be back in action in pre-season having been sidelined since February with a knee injury.
