Town Player of the Year Christophe Berra will be hoping to win his 29th full cap when Scotland face Nigeria in a friendly at Craven Cottage on Wednesday evening (KO 8pm, BBC One Scotland, Freesat channels 960/973, Sky channels 951/971 ).
In November, the 29-year-old centre-half, who has scored two international goals, became the first Town player since John Wark to win a Scotland cap when he came on as an injury time sub in a 1-0 friendly victory in Norway, his only international appearance since joining the Blues.
Wednesday’s game is under investigation by the National Crime Agency in relation to match-fixing claims.
Also hoping to be in international action on Wednesday night is Blues keeper Michael Crowe, who is with the Wales U19 squad for their Euro 2014 elite qualifying group games in Portugal.
The Welsh youngsters, who are coached by ex-Blues midfielder Geraint Williams, take on Belgium in their first game, then face the hosts on Friday and finally Greece next Monday. The winners of the group go through to this summer’s finals in Hungary.
London-born Crowe, whose father is English and mother Norwegian, joined the Blues in the summer of 2012 from Kristiansand-based side IK Start, having been brought up in Norway. He qualifies for Wales through his grandmother.
The 18-year-old, a second-year academy scholar during 2013/14, signed a two-year professional contract in September and has been on the first team bench on a couple of occasions, most recently at Watford.
