Willbye Up for Goal of the Season Award - Ipswich Town News
Academy midfielder Jack Willbye’s 45-yard stunner during Town’s FA Youth Cup tie with Sunderland has been nominated for the 2013/14 League Football Education Goal of the Season award. The goal won the LFE's Goal of the Month award for December.
Second-year scholar Willbye’s strike put the Blues in front in the first half but the Black Cats equalised after the break and eventually went on to win 4-2 on penalties.
