Brighton Leading Chase for Chelsea Youngster - Ipswich Town News
Brighton are leading the chase for Chelsea youngster George Cole, who is reportedly also interesting the Blues and Brentford.
The 18-year-old is set to join the Seagulls on trial when they return for pre-season training next week, having impressed in games for their U21s towards the end of last season.
According to the Brighton Argus, Town and the Bees are also keen on the Basildon-born attacking central or right-sided midfielder.
Cole has been with Chelsea since he was 11 but his time at Stamford Bridge is due to come to an end in September.
The England U16 and U17 international has been a regular for Chelsea’s U18s for the last two seasons having made his debut while still an U15, but his 2013/14 campaign was disrupted by a hip injury.
