McCarthy Confirms Garvan Training With Town - Ipswich Town News
Town boss Mick McCarthy has confirmed that former Blue Owen Garvan has been training with the club this week, as TWTD reported yesterday. However, he says that there is as yet nothing happening regarding the Crystal Palace midfielder rejoining his old club.
"Owen’s training with us,” McCarthy said. "He’s not gone away with Crystal Palace. I went to look at him last year and I didn’t think he was right.
"So I just asked Tony Pulis that if he’s not going away with them could I have a look at him because who knows in the future something might happen and then at least I’ve had a look at him.
"He’s been around, he’s a great lad, he’s trained well but nothing’s happening with him, not at the moment.”
