Town’s U18s got back to winning ways following their defeat to Southend at the weekend by winning 3-2 away at Arsenal earlier today.

Irish U17 international Shane McLoughin (pictured) netted twice and first-year scholar Sam Ford once in the behind-closed-doors friendly.

Meanwhile, Northern Irish U17 international Jonny Smith is facing a spell on the sidelines having suffered a broken foot during Saturday’s 3-0 reverse against the Shrimpers.
