Brown Off to Watford - Ipswich Town News
Wayne Brown is to move to Watford on a month's loan. Town refused an offer from Colchester and clearly the request from Gianluca Vialli was the reason why.
Just before Christmas Town refused to let Brown join Norwich on loan, a move the centre-half said he would probably not have made anyway. Prior to that he had had a successful spell at Wimbledon who he would have joined but for their financial situation.
He joins the Hornets today and will be in the squad for their game with Preston tomorrow.
Town's loan count is now up to six: Richard Naylor (Millwall), Richard Logan (Torquay), Amir Karic (NK Maribor), James Pullen (Blackpool) and Gary Croft (Wigan) in addition to Brown.
