U15s Fourth at Galway Cup - Ipswich Town News
Town’s U15s finished fourth in the Boys Elite competition at the Macron Galway Cup after losing the third/fourth play-off 3-0 to Israeli side Maccabi Haifa this afternoon.
The young Blues finished third in the group, narrowly missing out on a place in the final, which was eventually won by the Republic of Ireland, who defeated Mexican side Chivas Guadalajara 2-0.
In the group games Town’s U15s beat DC United 3-2, lost 4-2 to the Republic of Ireland, drew 0-0 with Maccabi Haifa, beat Chivas Guadalajara 3-1 and drew 1-1 with Scunthorpe.
