The Blues’ U21s will be in friendly action against Vanarama Conference North side Lowestoft Town at Crown Meadow this evening (KO 8pm).
The Town team is likely to include players such as Darren McQueen (pictured), Ben Wyatt, Byron Lawrence and, if they haven’t travelled with the senior squad, Matt Clarke and Teddy Bishop, while former West Ham man Jack Collison, who is training with the Blues, may also get a run out.
Mark Kennedy’s team start their Professional Development League 2 South Division campaign with a home game against Swansea on Monday 25th August (KO 1pm).
They will play each team in South Division twice and the sides in the North Division once, a total of 27 matches. As last year, they will not take part in the Suffolk Premier Cup.
