McGoldrick Starts for Blues - Ipswich Town News

David McGoldrick’s expected return to the starting line-up is the only change to Town’s team ahead of today’s East Anglian derby against Norwich City at Portman Road (Sky Sports 1/HD1, KO 12.15pm).

McGoldrick, who was used from the bench at Birmingham in midweek, replaces Conor Sammon, who drops to the bench. Young midfielder Teddy Bishop is unavailable due to illness.

Norwich include former Town academy schoolboy Ryan Bennett at the centre of their defence.

Town: Gerken, Chambers (c), Mings, Berra, Smith, Skuse, Hyam, Anderson, McGoldrick, Murphy. Subs: Bialkowski, Parr, Hewitt, Henshall, Bru, Bajner, Sammon.

Norwich: Ruddy, Martin (c), R Bennett, Turner, Whittaker, Tettey, Johnson, Hoolahan, Redmond, Lafferty, Grabban. Referee: Keith Stroud (Hampshire).
