Strong U21s Side But No Collison Or Ambrose - Ipswich Town News
Elliott Hewitt, Jonny Parr, Kevin Bru, Alex Henshall and Balint Bajner all start for the U21s in their season opener against Swansea at Playford Road this afternoon, but neither Jack Collison nor Darren Ambrose are included in the 16 (KO 1pm).
Boss Mick McCarthy had planned to have a look at free agents Collison and Ambrose against the Swans, the duo having been training with the Blues squad.
Matt Clarke skippers, while Teddy Bishop is in midfield having recovered from his weekend illness.
