Hewitt and Patterson Win Caps - Ipswich Town News
Right-back Elliott Hewitt won his 10th Wales U21 cap as his side drew 1-1 with Lithuania in Alytus this evening.
Wolves midfielder Lee Evans netted a final minute equaliser for Geraint Williams’s men, who finished fourth in their Euro 2015 qualifying group.
Hewitt, 20, played the full 90 minutes having been an unused sub during Friday's 2-2 draw in Finland.
Elsewhere, academy midfielder Monty Patterson played the first half for New Zealand’s U20s as they lost 3-0 to Morocco in their final game at a four-team tournament in Qatar.
Patterson, 17, was winning his ninth cap at U20 level having started the 1-0 defeat to Chile and come on as a sub in Sunday's 3-1 defeat of the Moroccans, after being drafted into the squad once the competition was already underway.
