Pressley Praise For Nouble - Ipswich Town News
Coventry manager Steven Pressley praised on-loan Town striker Frank Nouble after the Sky Blues’ 2-1 home victory against Yeovil on Saturday.
Nouble, who was making his second appearance for Coventry having scored on his debut, was involved in the winning goal, Glovers keeper Chris Weale saving his shot and sub Simeon Jackson following up to net.
"Today I thought Frank was excellent, he put in a really tough performance, and showed a lot of work ethic,” said Pressley.
Elsewhere, Paul Taylor picked up another assist in injury time, Jordan Bowery heading in his corner as Rotherham claimed a 1-1 at Bournemouth. Fellow loanee Anthony Wordsworth was an unused sub.
Jack Marriott is still looking for his first Carlisle goal having come on as a 75th minute sub as the managerless Cumbrians lost 3-0 at home to Bury in League Two.
Freddie Veseli was an unused sub as Port Vale lost 2-1 at Crewe Alexandra in League One.
