Peralta's Shirt Shocker - Ipswich Town News

Sixto Peralta has revealed that his recent good form is down to his superstition of changing shirts at half-time.

A number of fans had commented on his appearance on occasion in a short-sleeved shirt in the first half and a long-sleeved one in the second.

Peralta says: "It is not a superstition I have always had. It started when I changed shirts against Leicester City and scored so have done it ever since and I have kept scoring.

"I'm not really that superstitious, the only thing I have always done is come out last.

"That stems from when I was a young boy of around eight years old and it was something a player I liked then, Ricardo Bochene of Independiente, always did so I copied him and still do it."

Peralta has now scored five goals this season for Town and the Blues look certain to try to bring him to Portman Road permanently at the end of the season.
