Berra Named in Scotland Squad - Ipswich Town News

Town centre-half Christophe Berra has been named in a 27-man Scotland squad for their Euro 2016 qualifiers against Georgia and Poland next month.

The Scots take on the Georgians at Ibrox on Saturday 11th October, then the Poles at the National Stadium in Warsaw three days later.

The 29-year-old, who recently signed a new contract with the Blues until 2017, has previously won 28 full international caps and has scored two goals, having also played at U21 and B levels.

Berra was forced to pull out of the squad for Scotland’s opening qualifier in Germany earlier this month, which they lost 2-1.
