Jermaine Man For Town? - Ipswich Town News
Stories today link Crewe midfielder Jermaine Wright with Town. The former Wolves player, 24, is valued at a million or so and has been transfer-listed by the perpetually railway-linked club after he refused to sign an extension to his current deal, whcih has just ione year left to run.
No real news, though, just speculation over possible Town interest in the names we've heard all summer: Palace's Hayden Mullins, Liverpool's Danny Murphy and new rumoured target Lee Briscoe from Sheffield Wednesday.
Kieron Dyer's Newcastle career got off to an early start yesterday when he played the first half in their warm-up match with FC Deurne, which the Geordies won 4-0. Dyer even won a penalty scored by Alan Shearer.
