Town’s U21s were defeated 2-0 by Sheffield United at their Shirecliffe academy this afternoon.
Jason Paling put the Blades in front on 12 and Julian Banton added to their lead in the 61st minute.
Jack Collison and Cameron Stewart were the only two senior players involved for Mark Kennedy's side, who are sixth in the Professional Development League Two South.
