Town XI Face Hampton and Richmond - Ipswich Town News
A Town XI are taking on Ryman Premier League Hampton and Richmond Borough in a friendly at their Beveree Stadium on Tuesday 28th October (KO 7.45pm).
The match effectively replaces the scheduled U21 match away at Cardiff City, which has been postponed.
The game may give boss Mick McCarthy another chance to take a look at Hampton and Richmond left-back George Wells, who recently impressed while playing for Town’s U21s in the Premier League Cup victory over Swansea at Portman Road.
The 18-year-old was previously with Chelsea and QPR’s youth set-ups.
Tickets to Tuesday’s game cost £5 with entry for children aged 16 and under and Hampton and Richmond season ticket holders free.
