Polish Keeper Set for Trial - Ipswich Town News
Polish keeper Grzegorz Kleemann, 17, is joining the Blues on trial next week, his club Odra Opole have revealed.
Kleemann, who will join up with the academy on Monday, played junior football with MKS Strzelce Opolskie before joining his current club’s youth ranks in 2011.
The 6ft 2½in tall keeper has already broken into the first team, making 12 appearances for the Polish fourth tier club.
Meanwhile, academy striker Jonny Smith is joining Torquay United on loan. The second-year scholar, a Northern Ireland U17 international, has had an injury-hit time with the Blues since joining as a full-time scholar in the summer of 2013.
