George Burley was a TV pundit last night for the Hibs-Ayr United match, won by the visitors', the club where he started in management. He also took in the Rangers-Celtic match the night before and was full of praise for Rangers' Barry Ferguson.
The Blues' boss said "Barry Ferguson is a player I have admired for a long time. I can remember him playing for Scotland against England at Wembley in 1999 and I thought he was absolutely outstanding. There is no doubt in my mind that he is a world-class player and I am sure that Alex McLeish will be making sure that he stays at Rangers for a long time."
