Keeper Dean Gerken and midfielder Cole Skuse are the only Town players left on the injury list ahead of Saturday’s home game with Watford, while Luke Hyam misses out having reached five bookings.
Jonny Parr, Teddy Bishop missed the Wolves game with groin injuries, while Jonny Williams was absent with a calf problem.
"We’ve only got the two injured now, Gerks and Skusey,” McCarthy said. "Jonny Parr trained, Jonny Williams trained, The Bish trained, Kevin Bru trained, having had a heavy knock on his calf on Tuesday, I thought he was excellent, I have to be honest.
"Tyrone had a bit of a knock, he’s trained. There’s only Didz hasn’t trained. He had a spasm in his back on Tuesday before the game and I thought he was a doubt but he’ll be all right, we’re just nursing him along, he’s had plenty of football. He’ll be fine.”
McCarthy expects Gerken and Skuse to be available again after the international break.
"I would hope so,” he added. "Gerks’ was a groin strain, he’s progressing. Skusey’s is the pubis symphysis, I think he’s just overstretched it and if it gets inflamed it can prove a problem.
"We’ll just settle him down and do nothing until he’s ready and he’s got a couple of weeks now after tomorrow.”
