Leicester Striker Lawrence Linked - Ipswich Town News
Town are amongst a number of Championship clubs claimed to be interested in signing Leicester striker Tom Lawrence on loan in January.
The Foxes signed the 20-year-old Wales U21 international from Manchester United for a reported £1 million on the final day of the summer transfer window - after they had failed in their attempt to sign Town’s David McGoldrick - but he is yet to break into Nigel Pearson’s side.
According to Sky Sports, Leicester are willing to allow Lawrence to go out on loan in January in order to play games with the Blues, Blackburn and Cardiff amongst those interested.
Wrexham-born Lawrence, who is contracted to the Foxes until June 2018, spent spells out on loan at Carlisle and Yeovil while a Manchester United player.
