Veseli Not Ruling Out Staying at Vale - Ipswich Town News

Blues defender Freddie Veseli isn’t ruling out staying at current loan club Port Vale beyond the end of his current spell, despite reported interest from Bosnian side FK Sarajevo.

Yesterday, the former Swiss U21 international, who is currently due to stay with the Valiants until January 4th, played the full 90 minutes for the League One side as they lost 1-0 away against the MK Dons.

"If I keep playing and keep progressing and improving then why not?” he told the Stoke Sentinel.

"All I am looking to do is progress and perform well. It is something to discuss with Ipswich as well and with [Vale manager] Rob Page if he is willing to do it, and look at the conditions; [whether I’m] playing and stuff.

"There are just too many factors to be considering and I still have over a month left, so it is maybe a bit early to be looking into that.”

Elsewhere, Paul Taylor was subbed at half-time as Rotherham lost 1-0 at home to Birmingham in the Championship, while fellow on-loan Town man Anthony Wordsworth was left out of the 18 having played for the Millers’ reserves earlier in the week.

Frank Nouble played the full 90 minutes for Coventry City as they beat Colchester United 1-0 at the Weston Homes Community Stadium. Elliott Hewitt was an unused sub for the U’s.

Jack Marriott is still looking for his first goal since September 27th having come on as a 73rd minute sub in Woking’s 1-1 home draw with Barnet.
