Hamilton on Revival - Ipswich Town News

Bryan Hamilton says that his re-joining Town and the Blues' revival is nothing but coincidence. Former player Hamilton returned to Portman Road a month before the great turnaround which sees Town up to 12th in the League.

The former Northern Irish manager said: "It is a large coincidence that things have turned around since I arrived at the same time as Marcus Bent.

"There are so many factors involved, just as there were last time I came in a coaching capacity to Ipswich and young David Johnson came on the scene at the same time.

"Getting Marcus Stewart back from injury has helped, as has the arrival of Marcus Bent. And the other thing is some of the decisions we are getting.

"When I watched Ipswich play earlier in the same they were playing really well but were genuinely unlucky."
