Town boss Mick McCarthy has been nominated for the November Championship Manager of the Month award.
McCarthy is up against new Bolton and Birmingham bosses Neil Lennon and Gary Rowett, who have made impressive starts to their new jobs, and Brentford’s Mark Warburton.
The Bees manager would appear to be the strong favourite to land the gong with his side having picked up 15 points from 15 in November to move up to third behind the second-placed Blues - who took 13 points from their five games - on goal difference. The winner will be announced on Friday morning.
McCarthy previously won the September award - when Tyrone Mings was named the Player of the Month - to become the first Town boss to win Manager of the Month since Joe Royle in November 2004.
The current Town boss picked up the award three times with his previous clubs, once with Sunderland and twice with Wolves.
