Berra Returns For Blues - Ipswich Town News

Christophe Berra returns from his one-match ban but Mick McCarthy names an otherwise unchanged side for today’s home game against Leeds United.

The Scottish international takes up his usual central defensive role with skipper Luke Chambers moving to right-back with Jonny Parr dropping to the bench.

The Blues could opt for the four-man midfield they utilised at Charlton last week or alternatively Stephen Hunt - whose brother Noel is ineligible against his parent club - could move back into the front three alongside Daryl Murphy and David McGoldrick.

Leeds make one change with one-time Town target Jason Pearce coming in at centre-half for Giuseppe Bellusci.

Town: Bialkowski, Chambers (c), Smith, Berra, Mings, Skuse, Tabb, Anderson, S Hunt, Murphy, McGoldrick, Subs: Gerken, Parr, St Ledger, Bru, Bishop, Bajner, Sammon.

Leeds: Silvestri, Byram, Cooper, Pearce, Warnock (c), Cook, Bianchi, Mowatt, Adryan, Doukara, Antenucci. Subs: S Taylor, Berardi, Del Fabro, Austin, Dawson, Tonge, Sharp.
