Nigeria Coach Hits Out - Ipswich Town News
Nigeria coach Shuaibu Amodu has hinted that some of his more senior players, perhaps including Finidi George, may not be included in his World Cup squad after Nigeria's semi-final exit in the African Nations' Cup.
Shuaibu Amodu, whose own position is not that comfortable, says he has learnt lessons from the Malian tournament: "This to me is an eye-opener. I will not name names at the moment but certain players I relied upon let me down. But I have learnt my lessons. I promise Nigerians a better, committed and highly disciplined side for the World Cup if I still remain in charge."
