Dyer and Bramble the Next Legends on the Town - Ipswich Town News

The Supporters Club’s second Legends on the Town event of the season takes place at the Dove Street Inn on Thursday 5th February with Kieron Dyer and Titus Bramble the stars (7.30pm, doors open 7pm).

Hosted by Simon Milton, the evening, which is in aid of the academy, will include a question and answer session with the duo, who having hung up their boots are now academy coaches and sponsors. There will also be a raffle and auction.

Tickets cost £5 and are available from Elizabeth Edwards in the Sir Bobby Robson Stand’s 78 Bar before any home game, in the Sir Alf Ramsey Stand’s Legends Bar after every home game or you can reserve your place by phone on 07968 876504 or by email. This season’s first Legends on the Town event with Terry Butcher raised £840 for the academy.

Meanwhile, the Fortuna Blues will be making their annual pilgrimage to Portman Road for the live Sky game against Derby County on Saturday.

The visit by the supporters of German club Fortuna Dusseldorf has become a regular feature of January home games over the last decade.

This time 170 fans will be making to trip and they will be joining the Supporters Club in Legends Bar after the game for their second Legend in Legends event of the season. Bryan Hamilton, Mick Stockwell and John Wark will be amongst those present with Legends opening for longer than usual.

The Supporters Club's next On The Road social event takes place on Monday 16th February at Bury Town Football Club.

A number of first-team players will make the trip to West Suffolk for the usual mix of a question and answer session, quizzes and autographs.

The evening will be hosted by Simon Milton and is in aid of the academy. The event is open to all fans and is free. Tickets are available as per the Legends on the Town event above.

This season’s Supporters Day takes place on Saturday 21st February when Town play Reading. Fans will be making the trip from Italy, Northern Ireland and Norway amongst other places.

A number of events are being organised including a football tournament on the Friday, a pre-match social in the Dove on the Saturday with Radio Suffolk’s Life’s a Pitch broadcasting live, Blues legends in Legends post-match and on the Sunday a chance to watch some of the academy sides.
