McCarthy Keen to Keep Ambrose - Ipswich Town News
Town boss Mick McCarthy is keen to keep midfielder Darren Ambrose at Portman Road beyond the end of his short-term deal which is up after Tuesday's game against his former club Charlton.
The 30-year-old academy product signed the contract in September after a trial and has so far made five sub appearances but is yet to make a start.
"I just spoke to Daz today and my intention would be to try and keep him and I think his intention is definitely to stay here,” McCarthy said.
Ambrose was a free agent having been released by Birmingham in the summer.
