Town Issue Charlton Ticket Update - Ipswich Town News

Town have issued a ticketing update ahead of this evening’s home game against Charlton Athletic (KO 7.45pm). The Blues are expecting a crowd of more than 24,000, the second-highest attendance of the season so far, and are advising supporters to arrive early to avoid queues.

Tickets have been selling fast in the last few days with the lower tier of the Sir Bobby Robson Stand having sold out and a very limited number of seats available in the upper tier.

Fans after specific seats in any stand are advised to book as early as possible online via ITFC Direct using the Print at Home facility.

There have been large queues at Planet Blue throughout the day and sales will cease when the turnstiles open at 6.15pm.

After that tickets can only be purchased from a limited number of turnstiles with most cash only and a couple accepting cards. A full list can be found on the club site. All the other turnstiles will be ticket-only entrances.

Fans collecting their recently purchased half-season tickets can do so from Portman Road’s main reception before 5pm or from 6.15pm onwards from the Ticket Enquiry Centre on Portman Road (between turnstiles 9 and 10).

Town say they are unable to move season ticket seats on a matchday, however, upgrades can be processed at Planet Blue (before 6.15pm) and at the Ticket Enquiry Centre (from 6.15pm).
