Mings Fined - Ipswich Town News
Town left-back Tyrone Mings was fined and given three points on his licence yesterday having admitted using his mobile phone while driving.
Mings was caught using the phone while driving his Audi on the A1214 in Kesgrave on July 15th.
A statement from the 21-year-old was read out at South East Suffolk Magistrates’ Court: "I was turning my phone on after it had been playing up all morning. I realise I shouldn’t have done it while driving. I have hands-free, which I would usually use. I am in a position to pay a penalty if the court sees fit.”
Mings was fined £200, handed three points on his licence, an £85 statutory surcharge and £20 in costs.
