Veseli Joins Vale - Ipswich Town News
Departed Town defender Freddie Veseli has joined his former loan club Port Vale on a contract until the end of the season. The 22-year-old’s Town deal was cancelled by mutual consent yesterday.
Vale boss Rob Page said: "We’re very pleased to announce the signing of Freddie.
"He is a fantastic addition to a strong squad and one that we are very happy to have made.”
The former Swiss U21 international joined the Blues after a trial in the summer of 2013 after his release by Manchester United, having previously been with Manchester City’s youth set-up.
The right-back or centre-half made only one appearance for Town, last season’s Capital One Cup exit at Stevenage.
He spent time on loan at Bury during 2013/14 and joined League One Vale on a similar basis in the summer with manager Mick McCarthy having said he had no future at Portman Road.
