Nouble Joins Coventry - Ipswich Town News
Coventry City have confirmed the signing of former Blues striker Frank Nouble on a contract until the summer. The 23-year-old, whose Town deal was cancelled by mutual consent earlier in the week, had previously been on loan with the Sky Blues.
Speaking about Nouble’s Portman Road exit manager Mick McCarthy said: "It didn’t quite work out for Frank here. Frank came and he had some good games, he had some not so good games.
"But what he always did was compete like everybody else when he played. He was a part of the team that got better and better and he ended up leaving.
"But Frank didn’t want to be a bit-part player, he wanted to play and that’s a testament to him actually, that’s why he went out on loan.
"He was never going to dislodge Murph or Didz, so he needs to go and play his football elsewhere, which suits us all, and good luck to him.”
