Rotherham United are reportedly set to sign striker Conor Sammon, who is currently on loan with the Blues from Derby, on loan for the rest of the season.
Yesterday, the 28-year-old was linked with a move to Huddersfield but, according to The Irish Sun, the Ireland international will now join the Millers.
Sammon joined the Blues on a season-long loan in August but such spells include the provision for a recall within an open transfer window, so Sammon can go back to the Rams and then elsewhere.
The former UCD, Kilmarnock and Wigan striker, who has another 18 months remaining on his Derby contract, has scored one goal in eight starts and 12 sub appearances for the Blues."
Sammon moving on prematurely would mean Town boss Mick McCarthy would need to add another striker to his squad.
