U18s Beat Bristol City - Ipswich Town News
Sam Ford (pictured) scored twice and Myles Kenlock once as Town’s U18s beat Bristol City 3-2 at Playford Road this morning.
Striker Ford, a first-year scholar, put Town ahead in the fourth minute and, after the Robins had equalised, added the second on 32 to give the Blues a 2-1 half-time lead.
The visitors levelled again then, after the Blues had been reduced to 10 men when trialist Kolade Salaudeen suffered a knock with all three subs having been used, defender Kenlock netted the winner 11 minutes from time.
U18s: McDermid, Emmanuel, Salaudeen, Woolfenden, Kenlock, Smith, Dozzell, Jones (Patterson 68), Blanchfield, Ramadan (McLoughlin 68), Ford (Guldbrandsen 68). Unused: Hayes.
